Important Update – Fundraiser for Tank 💔

It is with heavy hearts that we share that today our salon family experienced a sudden loss. Our boss’s mother passed away, and four of our team members who were scheduled to work this fundraiser will be traveling to Chicago to be with family... and make arrangements.

Because of this, we unfortunately have to cancel the fundraiser event for Tank. This was not an easy decision, and we are incredibly sorry for the disappointment and inconvenience this causes.

That being said, Tank still needs our help. All funds that have already been collected will still go directly toward his care.

If you don’t know Tank’s story yet, please take a moment to read it on the event page. It matters. But today, I really want to share why this fundraiser is so important by giving you more insight into Tank’s foster dad, Joey,... and the healing work he does every single day.

Joey rehabilitates dumped and abandoned dogs the ones most people overlook. He does this without being a 501(c)(3). Instead, he partners and volunteers with Tinder Hearts Rescue, where the dogs he pulls are run through her rescue so they can receive veterinary care at her cost and even discounted rescue care is still incredibly expensive.

At any given time, Joey personally cares for 6–8 dogs at once. Right now, he has six. These dogs live with him, learn stability, routine, and trust. Once they’re vetted and their temperament is understood, Joey takes them to his gym where they’re socialized, loved on, and slowly shown that people are safe again.

This is where the real healing happens.

Clients and friends meet these dogs, bond with them, and many end up adopting keeping them out of overcrowded shelters and giving them real second chances. Joey isn’t just saving dogs… he’s rebuilding them.

Tank is alive because of this kind of compassion.
This fundraiser is about supporting the people who step up when the system is overwhelmed the ones who don’t turn away.
